Café Sagittarius – Behind the Scenes

A long needed English version about this place here. Sorry for typos, grammar mistakes etc. English is not my first language so it might sound waggly – I try my best 🙂

Anyhow.

Welcome to Café Sagittarius! Let me explain the idea behind this platform and the story behind the story. But first, here a short visual introduction:

 

 

Yes, it’s true! We really have coffee here (almost). Just order them via contact form and get a free painting of specialities from different worlds. 🙂

I like the idea to run a diner or café close to the center of our galaxy, the Milky Way. A hundred thousand lightyears ‚big‘, it takes 27.000 Lj from Earth to reach said center and it contains a supermassive black hole that researchers proofed to exist with the first image in May 2022, using the Event Horizont Telescope. What a long way to go and a perfect occasion to offer space for some rest, stories and exchange of ideas.

if you decide to stay and take a break for a while, Café Sagittairus offers to take a look. You’ll find a jukebox (updated Spotify playlist for convenient background music), a gallery to see space art, oil paintings or drawings. On the pin board, you may get a chance to talk to the service staff (yes, I plan to introduce its crew as a way of creating original characters – as I said: a story in a story 😉 ) or ask questions.
